Single Premiere | Grace Turner - ‘Easy I Fall’

Today we premiere the latest single from Grace Turner, ‘Easy I Fall’.

Newcastle artist Grace Turner’s latest offering opens with a swift punch to the gut, ‘If you wanna fuck me then just tell me that you love me…” The follow up to brilliant breakout track, ‘Dead or Alive’, ‘Easy I Fall’ sees Turner’s lulling, hypnotic vocals punctured by razored, discordant guitars as she traces the experience of a joyless, imbalanced relationship with familiar candour.

Recorded between a back shed and a spare room, ‘Easy I Fall’ in Grace Turner’s words “is about being tirelessly perused. I used to play it first in my set to shock people into listening to me. I often joke in my live show that it’s about trying to break up with someone but sleeping with them instead. In a deeper sense it’s about power imbalances in relationships, not being listened to and putting someone’s wants and needs above your own.”

Have a first listen to Grace Turner’s new single ‘Easy I Fall’ below, and keep an eye out for soon TBA headline tour dates early next year.
