Video Premiere | Noire’s ‘Dreamers’

NOIRE By Blair Gauld

Today we premiere Noire’s enchanting new video for single, ‘Dreamers’.

Created by Australian photographer Claudia Smith, the mesmeric black and white short was captured during Smith’s travels through the South Island of New Zealand and brings to life the dreamlike cinematic soundscape that is ‘Dreamers’. The latest of a string of stunning visual offerings, the video follows the release of Noire’s magical debut album, Some Kind of Blue last month.

An instrumental piece bar one marked vocal sample, Noire’s Jess Mincher said of the track, “Dreamers is my favourite track on the record. While we were working on the album, Billy and I drove to Bundaberg in Queensland to see a psychic my mum had gone to. We drove a couple of hours to get there; her house was in the middle of a cane field, with wind chimes blowing on her verandah. She was sitting in a rocking chair out the front waiting for us when we arrived. I recorded the session and sampled some of what she said in the track.”

Watch the beauty below and be sure to catch Noire during their upcoming Some Kind of Blue album tour, dates below.
