Tinashe / Wrong

Tinashe’s 2014 major label album debut Aquarius wasn’t particularly interesting in my opinion but the LA-based songwriter and producer has just released seven-track mixtape, Amethyst that is, frankly, pretty brilliant and provides a glimpse into what we may be able to expect from this promising  new artist’s next record.  Our favourite off the mixtape, ‘Wrong‘  was produced by Ryan Hemsworth and features a familiar sample from Cool & The Gang. Tinashe produced Amethyst entirely from her childhood bedroom late last year during the Christmas season and you can listen to the mixtape in it’s entirety here.
