On Lock Club features Nutrition, Byron based (via Melbourne) producer Eli Coppock, who has over the last couple of years steadily carved out his place as one of the best and brightest of the Australian dance scene. Since the release of his debut Conditions EP last year, Nutrition has released a string of singles including the anthemic ‘Advice Needed‘, alongside its mind-warping music video counterpart, tropical hand drum-laden house track ‘Samba‘, and most recently, sophisticated slow-burner, ‘Eyes‘. Having performed at Paradise Festival last year, EMC and a string of huge east coast club gigs, we’re stoked to have Nutrition at On Lock Club with his insane visuals in tow.
Supporting is Grace Stephenson – 1/3 of Brisbane band 100% and recently signed to Rice is Nice Records with her industrial techno solo project, Rebel Yell. Brisbane duo Goodbye Moon will be bringing their ultra smooth blend of electronic, hip hop and indie pop alongside Iti and Zach who form half of one of Brisbane’s finest bands, Twin Haus, and also happen to have excellent taste in house/electro. After making their DJ debut at Brisbane’s Big Kick On, they take over the decks under the moniker Nomel DJs, playing some of their favourite dance tracks. Control DJs will also be taking over button pressing duties between sets and below is a taste of what you can expect to hear.
